3D Hair Stroke Eyebrows:
Do not work out 24 hours before the procedure.
NO alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before procedure (Yes, there is caffeine in decaf coffee and tea!).
Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.
Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure.
Avoid power shakes and power gre ens, Fish Oil, and "Hair, Skin, Nail" supplements 24 hours prior to procedure.
Discontinue Glycolics, Chemical Peels and Retin-A 4 weeks prior. 
Refrain from use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after your procedure. Check your moisturizer, face wash BB creams and makeup primers for anything that says acid.
Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle as well.
You have to be off any kind of Accutane for 1 year. NO Exceptions!
IF YOU GET FILLERS, THEY SHOULD BE DONE 6 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED PROCEDURE OR DONE 6 WEEKS AFTER THE PROCEDURE.



IF YOU USE BOTOX, IT SHOULD BE PERFORMED EITHER 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED PROCEDURE OR 2 WEEKS AFTER YOUR PROCEDURE.

Eyebrows

3D Hair Strokes Eyebrows Post-Care:
HAIR STROKE EYEBROWS IS A "DRY HEAL" DO NOT GET WET, AND NO SWEATING FOR 10 DAYS

DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring and pigment loss! 
COMPLETELY avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks after your procedure.  Direct sunlight can cause the pigment to change color while it is healing and can also cause hyper pigmentation and scarring.  

Avoid pool, sauna, steam rooms, hot showers and/or hot baths for 3 weeks.

Avoid sweating for a full 10 days. Any physical effort, gym, hot weather, any other activity that may cause sweating through or on the brows will cause the "hairstrokes" to blur under the skin, there is no fixing this.

Avoid sleeping on your face/brows for the first 10 days.

NO makeup or skincare products to be used on the treated area for two weeks.

NO facials, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks. 

After 10 days, once the area has healed completely, consider using sunblock when going out in the sun to stop the color from fading.
Eyebrow tinting should not be undertaken for 2 weeks after your procedure.

Avoid Retin-A, Chemical Peels and Microderms around the brow area once healed.
AVOID ANY SKINCARE THAT HAS THE WORDS "ACID" "RETIN A" "GLYCOL" ON THE AREA TREATED! Look in your foundations and primers too, its in things that say "long lasting" or "Forever"
 
Eyebrows - Typical Effects

Day 1-2 The eyebrows are approximately 20 to 25% darker and bolder in width than they will be when healed. Your skin is red under the pigment which causes the color of the pigment to appear darker. There is some swelling, although difficult to see due to the thickness of the skin in the eyebrow area. This will subside. Exfoliation, which begins in a few days, will cause the excess pigment surrounding the eyebrow procedure to flake away and a more narrow appearance will result. New skin will heal over the pigmented area and result in a softer appearance of your eyebrows. Don’t be concerned that your eyebrows initially appear darker and heavier in size than you desire. This is all part of the process.

Day 3 Eyebrows will start to itch and will appear a bit thicker in texture. Natural exfoliation begins., do not exfoliate yourself.

Day 4 The skin begins to flake- peeling from the outside edges first.

Day 5 Color finishes flaking off and appears softer and greyer for 8 weeks until color clarifies.
AVOID ANY SKINCARE THAT HAS THE WORDS "ACID" "RETIN A" "GLYCOL" ON THE AREA TREATED!
 
Eyeliner
Keep fingers off of the eyes! The bacteria on the fingers and hands may cause "pink eye" which is a bacterial eye infection.
Only use the Vaseline provided to you after the procedure for 10 days, or as needed, you cannot over use them.DO NOT USE TOO MUCH VASELINE ON THE LINER AS IT CAN IRRITATE YOUR EYES, IN THIS CASE, MORE IS NOT BETTER.

Eyeliner can and will have some residual pigment that may peel or flake off after a couple days(in most cases)..that is ok..eyeliner tends to fade more so than brows due to the moisture in the eye area. After the touch up the color stays better and lasts longer….Eyeliner will take 2-3 procedures!
 
Eyeliner- Typical Effects
Day 1 Swollen like you’ve been crying, with a heavier eye makeup look.
Day 2 Swollen, usually for only a few hours after waking up, with the heavier eye makeup look continuing.
Day 3 Swelling decreases with a tight feeling. The pigments begin to lift away from the skin.
Day 4 There is a “pinching” feeling. Some itching is normal as the skin begins to flake. DO NOT PICK AT IT.
Day 5 Blinking movements of the eye usually removes all pigment by this day. Color is somewhat grayish and will take a few more days to clarify to full color.
 
Lips

Be careful as you pull on shirts or other garments over your face that you don’t brush the new tattoo accidentally. Also, don’t put any makeup on, particularly just after treatment. You might cause an infection or otherwise damage the tattoo. In the case of food, it may be challenging for a while to eat with tattooed lips, but it can be done. Avoid biting or licking your lips as much as possible, and make sure no food or drink stays on there.



Aftercare: Avoid Contact with Clothing, Makeup, Food and Sunlight. Take care not to expose your face to the sun for about two weeks after you get your tattoo. The sun will fade the pigment, which is still settling into your skin. Even after the tattoos have healed, be consistent with applying sunscreen to those areas of your face, to avoid fading. Lips can take 1-3 treatments for desired depth of color. Keeping lips moist daily will lengthen the time the pigment will last…everyone heals different.Very Important: If you get cold sores or have ever had one in the past, you will need an antiviral prescription from your doctor before a lip procedure. Physicians usually instruct to take it 2 days before. As this procedure will bring out the virus if not medicated beforehand.
 
Lips - Typical Effects

Day 1 Swelling, tender, heavy thick lipstick look with a reddish brick color effect.

Day 2 Slight swelling, reddish and tender with a slight metallic flavor.

Day 3 Less swelling, thicker texture, sore, hot feeling before exfoliation with an orange color effect.

Day 4 Exfoliation begins, very chapped lips.

Day 5 Very chapped but almost finished with the first chapping stage.

Day 6 A soft rich color begins to appear.

Days 7-13 Lip color disappears and the “frosty” chapping stage begins as a whitish/grayish haze on the lips.

Day 14 Color blooms from within more and more each day until day 21.

Day 21 Healing complete; the color you see is the color you have. Your lips will remain a bit dry for a month or two, use a good lip balm and they will return to normal, but with full color!
